The Anatomy Workshops portfolio is one that is fundamental to the role that the UCT Surgical Society plays in the development of the aspiring surgeon.
Over the last decade, this portfolio has seen a great deal of growth. These workshops serve to provide an exciting, surgically orientated look at the systems of the human body while contextualising their pertinence within surgical procedures.
The UCT Surgical Society Anatomy Workshops are held throughout the academic year and cover all areas of surgery. The workshops are facilitated by surgical specialists and focus on cadaver dissection and surgical demonstration. We are also privileged to be able to utilise the state of the art facilities at the Karl Storz Surgical Skills Centre at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
